Our sweet little man arrived!! We are so in love with baby Louie! He surprised us coming 11 days early and on labor day no less! Here are some pictures from the first couple days of Louie's life. Such a special, special time....every second.

"Happy Day" Baby Girl! 2 Years Old!

Happy Birthday to our perfectly pinkalicious princess.
Words could never express how special you are and how blessed we are to have you in our family. Your sweet little personality is just a joy and we love you forever and ever.
Thanks for being ours and for bringing us so many smiles and laughs, hugs and kisses. You make every day happy!

Some things about your 2 year old self:
- You LOVE everything pink. You are obsessed with Pinkalicious, Fancy Nancy, babies, princesses, you name it. You definitely came all girl.
- You love wearing dresses and when you put one on you usually twirl and say "princess!".
- You are so tender, sweet and sensitive. You love to take care of everyone and your babies too. You are always giving us hugs and kisses along with everyone in the books you read, your stuffed animals, etc. At bedtime you always ask for "Daddy Kisses" or "Mommy kisses". When I got you up from your nap today, I found you with your dolly and bunny all tucked in neatly with your blankie on top of your pillow and you were gently patting them, helping them get to sleep. :)
- You are so independent! You don't mind playing by yourself at all. So often I'll find you all by yourself up in your room just looking at your books forever or playing with your babies. You play so well on your own but also love playing with your big brother.
- You LOVE books!! We could read to you forever and I love it.
- You adore Calvin to the max! You love talking about him, saying his name and always worry about him. If he ever gets hurt you burst into tears of stress and anxiety for him til you know he is better. He love giving him snuggles and kisses and talking about "Brudder". When you guys watch shows together I'll find you on the couch snuggled right up next to each other. Of course, sometimes, you fight, but mostly you just adore each other. :) On your birthday we played a slideshow on the TV of pictures of you and before you woke up we showed Cal. He watched intently and almost got teary-eyed, turned to me and said a few times over, "Mommy, I just LOVE Scarlett. She is so special." :)
- You love all your "specials": your blankie, giraffe, and binki are your favorite things.
- You are such a great talker and just jabber away about everything. You pretty much say any word you want to try and are putting sentences together now. Every day your vocabulary just explodes it seems.
- You are recently figuring out all your colors and animals/noises. You love getting quizzed on them. And are so proud.
- You have been doing a little Mommy and Me dance class and just adore it. You talk about "dance class" all the time and want to play pretend dance class together in the family room all the time. You love going and get so excited to put on your leotard and dance shoes.
- You LOVE listening to kid songs in the car (especially Raffi). We can't listen to anything else. After every song you beg for more before another one can even come on. :) You also love Mickey Mouse and Little Einsteins!! They are your favorite shows.

You are one special lady Junie and we just couldn't possibly love you more. Can't wait to see what our sweet girl does this next year!
XOXOXO- Mommy & Daddy

Calvin made you this special crown when you woke up in the morning! Then we brought you downstairs to see your presents (you got a kitchen set!) and see the picture slideshow Daddy made of you.
Then we had a special breakfast of Mickey Mouse pancakes! You loved it! Later that day we went to the fair as a family and you had so much fun seeing the animals.
That night we finished the celebrations with "Pinkalicious" cupcakes just for our girl. Your thought the icing was pretty yummy. :)
And of course you did lots of playing with your big brother and got LOTS of love, snuggles and spoiling from all of us! Oh, and of course many versions of the Henry Happy Birthday song. :) It was all around a great day!

Ta Da!

Henry Baby #3 is on its way and joining our family early September!
We are SO excited and a bit intimidated. Not gonna lie. :) Outnumbered???!!!! Eek! Crazy to think about. But these little ones are so thrilled about their new baby on the way. We can't wait to have a new little one to love on, but let's just hope Mom and Dad are ready for this wild ride! Here goes nothing! :)

Believe it or not.....we are still alive

I know, I know, I know.....I have seriously neglected this little blog. Life....geez, it really catches up with you. Between the kids, the house work, keeping a small business on the side, and all the ins and outs of life, I just can't ever seem to stay on top of anything. Let alone the stuff that technically can slide. Just a little. In my state of overwhelms I guess I've given up a little on the documenting stuff so much just for the sake of having a bit more time to actually experience stuff. Does that make any sense? I mean, I haven't even been taking as many pictures of my kids it seems lately, because just when something really cute or happy is happening, I run to get the camera and poof the magic goes away. Kids scream because they don't want the camera in their face or they get shy and clam up. I'm mad because I destroyed the moment or practically missed it all together. And when it comes down to it....sometimes I just want to experience something without having to take a picture of it! Not always of course, and being a photographer I can't help but want to have every single moment in a still to look back on forever and ever. But I guess I started thinking, what am I missing by instead of just soaking up that precious second with my kids, running to always get the camera, or ignoring them while I'm on the computer trying to document the cute thing they did on my blog. At least this is what I told myself to justify my complete and utter failure at blogging and taking pictures of my own family. Haha. :) It's definitely more of a pacification for myself than anything. But I guess there is still some truth to it. I always think I'll want the document to remember everything by...whether it is words or pictures, and I'm sure that I will. But I also want to actually enjoy the memories as they are happening I suppose and not be so stressed to document it. And sometimes I'm just not good at doing both. Ahhh.....But I really want to!!! So how does everyone else out there do it??!! Please tell your secrets. :)

Phew....thanks for listening. I must have needed to get that off my chest. :) lol.

Either way though, these cuties are growing like weeds and keeping me as busy as ever. They are fun and wild and feisty and sweet and oh so crazy. Like I said, I really haven't been good at taking pictures lately, but the other day I quickly took a few snaps of these kiddos. I love these simple pics because they are just them. They really really are such sweet little friends right now and I'm just loving it. It's so magical watching a friendship grow between siblings.

So just to give you a little peek, here are my little sweeties at 4 1/2 and 20 months old. Hopefully I will step it up and get more blogging done VERY soon!!!! :) So don't give up completely.
